We asked the women who work at Optima Juris to tell us a little more about their careers, what they are proud of, and what inspirational quote drives them forward.

Kimberlee Castro, CSR, Director of Scheduling & Global Deposition Expert

Tell us a little more about your career?
I have been a court reporter for over 13 years now and one of the most rewarding things I did as a court reporter was to go to the local colleges to help deaf students by transcribing their notes during class. I would go home and tidy up all the notes and email them back to the student.
Now, I work for an international deposition agency as the Director of Scheduling, where I help connect U.S. law firms and court reporting agencies with arranging hassle-free depositions outside the United States.

Catherine Beeny, Director of Marketing

Tell us a little more about your career?
I always loved to write and had a vision of becoming a screenwriter. I began as a coffee gopher on TV and movie sets at Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. After falling in love with online marketing, I took the leap over to the dark side and never looked back.  It has been a wild, fun, and rewarding ride.
What is something you are most proud of?
I am most proud of my children because they are a reflection of the lessons and the love I have tried to instill in them.

Tell us a little more about your career?
I became realtor to help a family member purchase a home after their parents lost the one they grew up in. Then I decided to move half way across the country to experience life when I found Optima Juris.
What is something you are most proud of and why?
I’m really proud of purchasing my first home at 25. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment and one day, I hope to raise a family there.

Tell us a little more about your career?
Creativity has always been the driving force in my career. It’s what makes me tick as a professional and why I am able to enjoy my work. I grow every day because of the women and men I work with, they push my designs and writing ability.
What is something you are most proud of and why?
Years ago, I started my own company and though the venture was ultimately unsuccessful it was the reason I found my passion and career path. Without that experience, I may have not found what I truly love doing.

Two work accomplishments that I am most proud of is becoming executive producer of BuyTV and managing a CES TV show.
